SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING ACTIVITIES
- Sponsors a “Heads Up, What’s Up” event where students have a cellphone- free lunch; give conversation starters
- School-wide “Freeze” and add Text4Help and save Text4Help in their phones
- Challenge students to post a picture of anything positive to their social media accounts
- Give the journal prompt “How I treat a friend having a hard time vs. how I treat myself when I am having a hard time”; students can recognize positive vs. negative self-talk
